US ARMY M-1951 M51 FIELD JACKET 1952 KOREAN WAR SIZE MEDIUM REGULAR(Vintage Us Army M 1951 M51 1952 Field Jacket Medium Regular Korean War)

Developed for the Korean War, the M1951 field coat was made from OG-107 water repellent and wind resistant sateen and had a zip front closure and summary cuffs. It had both waist and hem drawstrings and in cold weather could be fitted with a detachable liner. A hood could be summaryed to the coat’s epaulets to provide protection against the elements for both head and face. Though they were rarely needed in Vietnam, field coats were worn in the Central Highlands where it became rather cold at night.
